TYPES OF DENTURES
Full Dentures – These are for patients missing an entire arch of teeth, either on top or bottom. They are typically made of plastic base that is colored to blend in with the gums. This base is designed to stay in place by forming a seal with your gums.
Partial Dentures – Partials are either made with a plastic base or metal framework that will support the number of teeth missing. These are designed to stay in place with clasps and rests that will form around the remaining teeth.
DENTAL IMPLANT SECURED DENTURES
If you choose to secure your dentures with dental implants your procedure will begin with the surgical implantation of the dental implants. Dental implant secured dentures or All on Four requires strategic planning and utilizes the healthiest parts of the jaw bone for a successful result.
Prosthodontists Dr. Weintstock and Dr. Waasdorp offer years of experience using the All-on-4 dental implants technique. Patients who choose dental implant secured dentures enjoy many added oral health and lifestyle benefits compared to traditional dentures.
